I guess I am pitch ready. I don’t like that saying. I met with my friend today and had the deck finally ready at the last minute. I didn’t want it to be a pitch, but I knew it was going to be a bitch. I didn't get nervous until we got into the weed. I’m lucky my friend is a super cool guy. We chatted a bit, and I learned so much in just a short while. He gave me great feedback and now I know where there are some holes in my presentation.
I’ve started to think TAM and market size research might not be the best use of funds right now, but I should get the reports wrapped up anyway. Once I say the word “family”, the understanding of that size is instantly understood.
I wanted it to be an experience of a quick show with some feedback but I know it was a pitch so I had to be ready. But, from now on, I’m going to think of it as my first time introducing the app to someone new in a long while. Pitching is a term that sounds too sales-y for me.
I’m going to take the rest of the weekend off and reflect. I’ll catch up with you all next week.
